Preparation for Laboratory Tests
Sample collection for laboratory tests typically takes place in the morning on selected days (appointments are required). Patients should arrive at our clinic on an empty stomach after a good night’s sleep. Before the test, you can drink only water, but this does not mean you need to fast the day before or for several days prior to the test. On the contrary, continue your regular diet, but you may want to limit the intake of medications and vitamin supplements that could distort the results.
