Dr. Krzysztof Halas is a specialist in general surgery and vascular diseases. He graduated from the Medical University of Lublin.
He gained extensive professional experience in vascular surgery while working in the Vascular Surgery Department of Clinical Hospital No. 4 in Lublin, as well as in university hospitals in the UK, including The Whittington Hospital NHS Trust in London and the Royal Exeter and Devon NHS Trust in Exeter.
His special interests include vascular diseases, particularly the treatment of varicose veins and chronic venous insufficiency.
r. Krzysztof Halas performs Doppler ultrasound of lower limb veins, essential for diagnosing and treating varicose veins, excluding deep vein thrombosis, and diagnosing leg swelling.
He specializes in minimally invasive procedures such as sclerotherapy (closing/injecting) varicose veins and spider veins under ultrasound guidance and surgical removal of varicose veins under local anesthesia. Varicose vein surgeries are performed at the Luxmed hospital in Warsaw.
Dr. Halas also performs a variety of minor general surgical procedures, including the removal of ingrown toenails, incision and drainage of abscesses or hematomas, removal of pigmented skin lesions, lipomas, and sebaceous cysts, dressing changes, and the removal of skin sutures.
